Overview

South Weaver Lake GROUP Recreation Site

Enjoy this GROUP site for your family or group gatherings. This semi-private group site is located at the South West side of Weaver Lake.

South Weaver Lake Group Site is a new group site that opened July 2020. Additional site improvements will be done over the next few years.

This Group Site is situated just off the South West corner of Weaver Lake. The open concept will accommodate up to 10 various sized recreational vehicles.

We have constructed a short trail to the lake and have installed a temporary swimming platform at the water’s edge.
The lake is stocked with trout and is great for fishing or swimming.
A boat launch is available over at the Main Weaver Campground (no boat launch at the group site).
Small boats with a maximum of 7.5 kw or 10 hp motor restriction are welcome.

Enjoy the nature hike around the lake on the Denham trail. This trail is not maintained and is approximately 6 km long and takes 3 hours to complete for the average hiker. It is well worth the hike as you explore the many boardwalks, bridges and the beauty of nature along its path.

Camping is limited to your group, however public use will occur along the Denham Hiking Trail that follows along the lakes edge.

There is NO CELL SERVICE available at the South Weaver Lake Group Site. The closest spot to get cell service is a couple km outside of the group site.

Access to and from the group site will from 7am to 11pm only. No access will be permitted from 11pm to 7am as the main campground gate may be locked at the discretion of the on-site camp host. All visiting guests who have not paid for overnight camping, must vacate the group site by 10pm.

Wherever your destination takes you, you’re certain to find your stay here relaxing and enjoyable.

MAXIMUM 50 people permitted on this group site at any given time. This includes overnight campers as well as day visitors.
